Warehouse Workshops is a monthly event combining

networking and education.

Matt Ryan ICG 600 will be leading the main workshop!

In the fast-paced world of commercial filmmaking, every shot counts. 

Cinematographer Matt Ryan wants to take you through his 

creative process on how he gets the most out of the spot.

This workshop is going to focus on the art of commercial lighting and how he

adapts his darker, moody style with higher key commercial looks to create a

balanced image that satisfies the client while maintaining his personal voice.

There’s a limited amount of shots in a commercial so it’s important

to focus on what the audience needs to see to tell the story efficiently.

The main goal of the event is to give up-and-coming filmmakers

a space to learn, network and explore filmmaking gear.

Located at Beam Studios in Van Nuys CA, guests will have access to four unique

film sets. Each set will be equpped with a lighting/grip set up and camera package.

Vendors will have booths to display their latest gear. We believe the best way

to learn is to be hands on with the tools you will use in the professional world.

During the event there will be a live demonstration/lesson

given by an industry professional in our large warehouse space.
