As I reflect on the journey of Warehouse Workshops from its inception to this momentous first-year anniversary, I'm filled with a whirlwind of emotions. What started as a simple idea, born out of my own passion for filmmaking and a desire to create a space for like-minded individuals, has evolved into something truly extraordinary.

The road to this milestone has been anything but easy. Balancing the demands of my career as a working cinematographer with the responsibilities of building and sustaining Warehouse Workshops has been a constant challenge. Learning to navigate the intricacies of website creation, event production, and booking industry professionals was a steep learning curve—one that often felt overwhelming, especially with the added joy and chaos of welcoming a newborn baby into my life.

But through it all, the support and dedication of my team, instructors, vendors, and, most importantly, the attendees have been the driving force behind Warehouse Workshops' success. Their belief in the vision of creating a community where filmmakers can come together to learn, grow, and connect has been truly humbling.

From editing promos to mastering the art of live streaming, every obstacle has been met with determination and a relentless pursuit of excellence. And as we mark this first-year milestone, I'm filled with a sense of gratitude for how far we've come and excitement for the journey ahead.

This is just the beginning for Warehouse Workshops. As we look to the future, I envision expansion—both in terms of physical locations and online reach. My dream is for Warehouse Workshops to become not just a local gathering, but a global community of filmmakers united by their passion for the craft.

But amidst the plans for growth and expansion, one thing remains constant: gratitude. Gratitude for the incredible team who has supported me every step of the way, gratitude for the talented instructors who have shared their knowledge and expertise, gratitude for the vendors who have believed in our vision, and, most importantly, gratitude for the attendees who have shown up time and time again, eager to learn and grow alongside their fellow filmmakers.

Warehouse Workshops is more than just an event—it's a family. And as we celebrate this first-year anniversary, I'm filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we've embarked on together. Here's to many more years of learning, growing, and creating together.

Located at Beam Studios in Van Nuys CA, guests will have the opportunity to network and get hands on in professional workshops!

Vendors will have booths to display their latest gear. We believe the best way

to learn is to be hands on with the tools you will use in the professional world.
