This is our 10th month straight and were super excited to keep the momentum going! 

Justin Jones is on a feature in Memphis so hes passing the host torch off to director Matt Alonzo this month!

Immerse yourself into the world of gripping with Local 80 Key Grip Brendan Riel. This workshop will guide you through the fundamental & advanced techniques of camera rigging. Brendan will demystify the methods professional grips use to rig cameras to various objects and will demonstrate the approach for designing and executing specialty large scale camera motion rigs.

Part 1: Rigging Cameras to Any Object

Get hands on with tools of the trade and help build some rigs. Understand what goes into rigging a camera to any object and what tools you need to have in your arsenal.

Part 2: Large Scale Camera Motion Rigging

We’ll walk you through high level solutions for analog camera movement rigging. We’ll step things up and bust out the big toys for some large scale rig demonstrations. This isn’t one you’re going to want to miss. 

This workshop will be hands-on, immersive and exciting! We look forward to seeing you there.

Located at Beam Studios in Van Nuys CA, guests will have the opportunity to network and get hands on in professional workshops!

Vendors will have booths to display their latest gear. We believe the best way

to learn is to be hands on with the tools you will use in the professional world.

During the event there will be a live demonstration/lesson

given by an industry professional in our large warehouse space.
